Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality management systems according to local and international standards (e.g., ISO specifications)
- Conduct regular (announced and unannounced) inspections on raw materials, production processes, and final products/services
- Manage occupational safety by monitoring the application of safety and health regulations in workplaces to protect employees and facilities
- Document non-conformities, defects, or safety incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and safety, and prepare periodic reports for management
- Provide training and awareness programs on quality standards, safety guidelines, and best practices
- Monitor licenses, certificates, and legal requirements related to safety and quality, and coordinate with relevant regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management, Public Health, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in quality, safety, or food safety
- Certifications such as CPHQ (Healthcare Quality), ISO 9001/ISO 22000, or OSHA safety courses (preferred)
