We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to enhance the public image and manage media communications for a variety of companies. The role includes overseeing government relations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, maintaining corporate communication, and managing media relations, reputation, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Relations & Legal Compliance
- Serve as the primary contact with government departments and regulatory authorities.
- Manage licensing, visa applications, labor permits, and trade licenses.
- Ensure compliance with regional immigration, labor, and company laws.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and inform management as necessary.

Corporate Communication
- Design and implement a PR strategy that aligns with corporate goals.
- Create press releases, speeches, and other communications.
- Maintain a consistent brand image across communication channels.
- Act as the company spokesperson when needed.

Media Relations
- Establish and nurture relationships with local and international media.
- Organize press events and manage media interactions.
- Track media coverage and public opinion, preparing reports and crisis strategies.

Reputation & Crisis Management
- Oversee the company’s public image and address reputational challenges.
- Develop crisis communication strategies.
- Monitor social media and news for potential issues and respond proactively.

Event Management & CSR
- Plan and manage corporate events, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
- Oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.
- Internal Communications
- Assist in creating internal communication strategies and materials.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Certification in public relations or government relations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written) is highly valued.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in public relations, ideally in a multi-business environment.
- Strong understanding of government protocols and public sector interactions.
- Experience in managing corporate events and public communications.
