Job Purpose:
The Senior Architect will lead project design and coordination throughout all phases, emphasizing high-quality design, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder communication.
Key Accountabilities:

Concept Design, Schematic, and Design Development Coordination:
- Lead all design phases, aligning with Alef’s vision and project timelines.
- Serve as the main contact for consultants, contractors, and third parties to facilitate project integration.
- Review architectural deliverables to ensure technical standards and local regulation compliance.
- Implement the design strategy effectively to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Consultant, Contractor, and Third-Party Coordination:
- Manage Revit standards and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud for streamlined collaboration.
- Review and provide feedback on consultant and contractor drawings.
- Ensure design modifications are consistent with project goals and regulatory requirements.

Authority Approvals, Presentations, and Compliance:
- Validate design documentation for authority submissions, ensuring code compliance.
- Prepare sketches and technical details for regulatory approvals.
- Lead technical presentations for discussions with regulatory bodies.

Software and Visualization Tools:
- Create impactful 3D visuals and sketches for presentations using tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, 3Ds Max, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Produce precise 2D and 3D drawings to support design decisions.

Architectural Drawing Production:
- Ensure design outputs meet safety and regulatory standards while preserving design intent.
- Assist in developing tender packages and technical specifications.
- Revise architectural documents based on project briefs and feedback.

Team Coordination:
- Facilitate early coordination with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to avoid design conflicts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality documentation.
- Meet project deadlines with timely delivery of coordinated design packages.
- Site Supervision and Technical Support:
- Conduct site inspections to maintain architectural intent during construction.
- Provide design clarifications and technical support to the site team.
Educational Qualification & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Work Experience:
- At least 12 years of architectural design experience, with a minimum of 8 years in the UAE or GCC real estate sector within a developer environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, and/or mixed-use projects.
