Data and Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales invoicing and inter-company sales reconciliation
- Accounting for purchases and daily/monthly sales reporting
- Handling credit notes and purchase return entries
- Allocation and accounting of bank receipts from trade debtors
- Scrutinizing the receivable ledger and making necessary corrections
- Managing and updating debtor and creditor ageing reports
- Overseeing petty cash management, including receipts and payments
- Preparing and sending sales receivables reports to marketing divisions
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Supporting VAT submission and compliance
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial data
- Adhering to financial policies and regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in accounting
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in using Focus ERP
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
- Familiarity with VAT and tax invoicing
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience: 2 to 4 years
