Financial Analyst Position at SOS HR Solutions – Al Kuwait

Summary:
The job of a Financial Analyst involves reviewing and consolidating financial data, preparing accurate financial reports, and conducting thorough financial analyses. Data and Details:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Review standalone trial balances (TB) and consolidate TBs for Leasing and Haval divisions.
    2. Prepare consolidated schedules for quarterly and year-end audits.
    3. Liaise with both external and internal auditors, addressing their queries.
    4. Prepare and submit timely monthly financial statements and reports for the Leasing division in alignment with accepted accounting principles.
    5. Conduct monthly financial analyses to identify significant deviations from previous years or budgets.
    6. Develop one and five-year financial plans based on historical data, trends, and management plans for the Leasing division.
    7. Ensure monthly sales incentives and commissions comply with company policies.
    8. Compile data and generate financial reports as requested by Management.
    9. Review reconciliation reports and overdue accounts for suppliers and customers.
    10. Manage treasury functions to optimize fund utilization and investments.
    11. Regularly review internal controls and recommend changes as needed.
    12. Assess and review insurance contracts for better coverage and claims.
    13. Oversee stock management and assist in liquidation plans.
    14. Analyze the aging reports for receivables and payables, collaborating with the Manager for corrective actions.
    15. Review the payroll for the Leasing division.
    16. Evaluate cost sheets related to Leasing.
    17. Review fixed asset schedules.
    18. Support various other roles within the Finance function as needed by Management.
