Key responsibilities
- Evaluate tender documents and prepare competitive bids
- Compare materials, select optimally, and negotiate with suppliers
- Perform value engineering based on budget constraints
- Prepare technical submittals for review
- Maintain project logs and filing as per ISO requirements
- Provide technical support to the sales team
- Review RFQs, drawings, and layouts to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Select suitable lighting fixtures based on project specifications and budget
- Propose approved alternatives and prepare material proposals
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for product pricing and lead times
- Handle multiple RFQs and ensure timely quotation submission
- Recommend cost-effective lighting solutions without compromising project specifications
- Follow up on submitted quotations and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lighting Estimator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, materials, and industry trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
- Familiarity with ISO standards and project management processes
