Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies tailored to our heavy equipment rental industry
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific EHS regulations
- Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees and clients
- Perform routine inspections and audits to ensure safety protocol adherence
- Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near misses
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans
- Oversee the EHS aspects of contractor and client management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures
- Familiarity with the heavy equipment rental industry is a plus
