IT Helpdesk Coordinator – Samcom Electronics LLC

We're seeking an IT Helpdesk Coordinator to be the first point of contact for internal IT support, managing user accounts, and maintaining office networks.

Key responsibilities

• Handle internal IT support requests for hardware, software, network, email, and printers
• Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across company systems
• Monitor and maintain office network, Wi-Fi, and basic server infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex ones
• Maintain IT asset inventory (laptops, licenses, network equipment)
• Support video conferencing, meeting room AV setups, and office IT equipment
• Apply basic cybersecurity practices, including antivirus updates, backups, and password policies
• Provide first-level technical support to sales staff, resellers, and installers on surveillance products
• Coordinate with vendor technical support teams on advanced issues and RMA cases
• Support product demos, testing, and configuration of experience centre and demo units
• Maintain internal knowledge base, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides
• Provide basic training to staff on IT tools and systems
• Assist with IT procurement quotes, authorization, and confirmation letters, and authority approvals

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Helpdesk Coordinator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network infrastructure
• Familiarity with IT service management processes and tools
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Problem-solving attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Experience with surveillance products is a plus
