Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement cycle from need identification to order issuance and supply follow-up
- Support tender processes and ensure compliance with procedures and policies
- Prepare tender documents and technical specifications (RFQ)
- Review technical specifications for materials, equipment, and services
- Evaluate bids technically and commercially, prepare comparison tables and recommendation reports
- Communicate with suppliers and negotiate prices and supply terms
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with delivery dates and required specifications
- Prepare periodic reports and update procurement and supplier data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 6 months to 5 years of experience
- Proven experience as an engineer in manufacturing, projects, operations, maintenance, or similar
- Knowledge of the procurement process (request for purchase, RFQ, comparison, purchase order, receipt)
- Proven experience in Jordan
- Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to read, understand, and compare technical specifications
- Proficient in Excel
