Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and measurements from construction drawings and specifications.
• Develop cost estimates, project budgets, and detailed cost plans.
• Review and evaluate contractor and subcontractor quotations for competitive pricing and compliance.
• Monitor project costs, track expenditure, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Assess variations, evaluate contractual claims, and prepare final project accounts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and conduct commercial negotiations with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain a sound understanding of construction contracts, contractual obligations, and relevant construction laws.
• Prepare and coordinate complete tender submissions, including technical proposals, compliance documents, commercial offers, and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and relevant laws.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
