Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily trips and routes for various vehicle types
• Assign drivers and vehicles, and oversee trip execution until completion
• Monitor vehicles via GPS/telematics and address delays or incidents
• Maintain required temperatures in refrigerated vehicles
• Coordinate with production, sales, warehouses, and farms on loading and delivery schedules
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules with the workshop
• Track fuel consumption, mileage, and trip costs, preparing daily and monthly reports
• Keep vehicle documents, insurance, registrations, and driver licenses valid and up to date
• Enforce safety, traffic, and biosecurity procedures among drivers
• Handle traffic violations, accidents, and related reporting

Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant field
• Proven experience in transport coordination or a related role
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using GPS/telematics systems
• Familiarity with cold chain management
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
