Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming materials
- Issue materials and spare parts against authorised requests
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers
- Monitor stock levels and replenish as required
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and organisation of materials
- Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing stock
- Coordinate with teams to ensure materials availability
- Identify and address discrepancies, damaged items, and slow-moving stock
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised store
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proven inventory management skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with mining or quarrying operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using inventory management software
