Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef specialized in Asian cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development for Asian dishes.
- Prepare and cook high-quality Asian cuisine, ensuring presentation and flavor standards are met.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment.
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies to ensure fresh ingredients are always available.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in managing kitchen labor costs and controlling wastage.
- Stay current on culinary trends, techniques, and Asian cuisine specializations.
