Key responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar power systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues.
- Maintain solar panels, mounting structures, tracking systems, inverters, cables, and related equipment.
- Test components, repair, adjust, and replace faulty parts.
- Monitor station equipment, respond to operational alerts and issues.
- Support performance tracking and SCADA system monitoring.
- Prepare maintenance records and work reports, identify spare parts and tool needs.
- Follow safety procedures and obtain necessary work permits and energy source isolation.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and participate in emergency maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in solar power maintenance (2+ years).
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and their components.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
