SERVICE TECHNICIAN The role of the Service Technician will be accountable for setup, service and troubleshooting of hydraulic and hydraulic related or supported applications.

As a Service Technician you are accountable for:

  • Responsible to carryout repairs, service and troubleshooting of hydraulic pumps/motors and hydraulic supported application jobs in the workshop and client job places under the guidance of the senior hands.
  • Carryout problem investigations, problem shooting and site surveys.
  • Strip, examine and evaluate hydraulic parts such as pump, motor, cylinder and valves.
  • Through understanding of pump & & motor assembly & screening.
  • Recording of measurements and test results as the jobs are carried out.
  • Carryout and keep track of inspection/test of hydraulic components or systems.
  • Make sure all Testing and Monitoring Equipment or Instruments are recognized and preserved in great order at all times.
  • Read and translate illustrations, handbooks and code specs.
  • Keep the workshop, plant equipment and devices in excellent order & & maintenance of housekeeping at all job places.
  • Report and record the activities performed in line with the paperwork requirements of the company
  • Prepare reports on investigations, trouble shooting and site surveys.
  • Coordinate with technical/sales staff in performing numerous tests, assessment, trails, and problem rectification or investigation of different Gates systems/ equipment in the workshop facility and at job areas.
  • Guarantee all transactions are performed in compliance with the suitable standards, Company Quality (ISO) procedures and provide suggestions to the QHSE Department of any non-conformance problems.
  • Follow necessary safety regulations, suitable work instructions, running treatments, approach statements, and so on as required, in performing the tasks.
  • Use correct PPEs, spares, tools, devices and devices to the optimal utility.
  • Mindful handling and conservation of customer equipment and accessories.
  • Report all events, mishaps, near-misses, risky conditions and acts to the supervisors/Safety Officer.
  • Comply with all occupational health, safety and environmental treatments of both the company and of customer while working.
  • In addition, will likewise support the activities of the other systems whenever requested.
  • Other duties associated with effective development of the unit.

Required Experience:

  • Functions as an Individual factor
  • 2 years of associated experience in service activities
  • Ought to hold a Vocational/Technical Certificate or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A verifiable capability to keep up with brand-new innovation patterns and how they would apply to real life projects.
  • Ability to communicate honestly, truthfully and constructively and treat all clients with self-respect and regard.
  • Capability to deal with offshore/onshore site for extended periods of time.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Hydraulic and related/supported applications viz Denison, Parker, Vickers, Eaton, Rexroth, Hagglunds products.
  • Great communication skills, team player,
  • Good understanding and Experience in troubleshooting & & repair of Hydraulics pumps
  • Understanding numerous screening, determining, calibration, monitoring equipment/instruments and hand tools.
  • Ability to check out and translate drawings, manuals and files.
