Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of equipment & materials
- Develop & manage domestic & international suppliers
- Handle import/export activities & logistics coordination
- Negotiate prices & finalize commercial terms with suppliers
- Prepare & manage RFQs, purchase orders, & procurement reports
- Coordinate with multiple departments for timely material availability
- Review technical specs & standards before finalizing purchases
- Monitor order status, delivery schedules, & supplier performance
- Manage import-export documentation & ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Engineering/Commerce/Supply Chain degree
- 6-7+ years in procurement & import-export
- Technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, & automation products
- Experience in sourcing, vendor development, & commercial negotiations
- Knowledge of Incoterms, import-export docs, & international logistics
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, & purchase management software
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, & coordination skills
