Established in 1984 by Sameer Saeed and Yousef Nadoom, Baker Group is today one of the fastest-growing private companies in the food and beverages sector in Kuwait. It has five brands and over 65 branches serving high-quality, unique desserts and specialty savory food.
The Group’s first pastry shop previously known as “Ghandoor” gained fame from selling cakes, cookies and Arabic ice cream. From its location in the Jabriya area, Baker Group expanded in 1997 with the launch of the renowned bakery Mr. Baker, followed by the opening of the first Kanafani in 2003, Mr. Subs & Wraps in 2007, Herfy in 2008 and Abu Saleem in 2010.
Today, Baker Group aims to continue its expansion in the Kuwaiti market, serving customers through quality brands that include bakeries, pastry shops, fast food chains, gourmet sandwiches, and Arabic-cuisine restaurants.
