Key responsibilities
- Exceed sales targets through rapport-building, problem-solving, and upselling
- Improve sales strategies, identify slow-moving items, and recommend actions
- Maintain product displays using IKEA's merchandising standards
- Become a product expert in Home Furnishing Business (HFB)
- Stay informed on local market trends and company product changes
- Provide customer feedback and conduct daily area inspections
- Manage stock levels, coordinate with procurement, and support sales operations
- Understand and meet diverse customer needs, prepare pro forma invoices, and follow up on quotations
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, preferably in retail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility and understanding of the retail environment
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus
