Key responsibilities
- Provide real-time MENA/APAC position visibility during business hours
- Translate physical trading risks into actionable hedge requirements
- Bridge information gaps with structured handoffs and clear escalation
- Maintain daily regional position views and monitor EEX & SGX market data
- Assist traders with exposure identification, hedge sizing, and scenario analysis
- Coordinate documentation, approvals, and trade execution activities
- Track hedge requests, executions, and settlements, escalating critical items
- Reconcile trading positions with Finance records and resolve discrepancies
- Provide clear market and position commentary to traders and leadership
Requirements
- Proven experience in risk management or related field
- Strong understanding of commodity markets and hedging strategies
- Familiarity with EEX and SGX platforms
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Proficient in English, additional languages an asset
