Our not-for-profit professional association client are looking for a Regional Activities Manager responsible for delivering and maintaining effective support for members within Russia and the Caspian. This includes membership retention and growth, volunteer acquisition, and the provision of direct support for Regional Directors. Travel within the region and occasionally to other offices around the world will be required.

Candidates must be fluent in both Russian and English

Responsibilities

Executive Support

• Complete yearly report of regional activities and identify overall trends and provide insights into how assigned regions are progressing.

• Identify and share regional needs, challenges, and successes with Regional Directors regularly.

• Provide updates on entities activities that may be of interest for Regional Directors.

• Work with assigned Regional Directors on the development and pursuit of goals that they have for their region such as the development of workgroups, committees, regional activities/events, and creation of new programs.

• Support for Regional Directors within assigned regions, and on occasions for Regional Directors from other regions. Arrange and facilitate regional meetings including venue arrangements, agenda formation and circulation, inviting and confirming attendees, minute taking and follow up actions where appropriate.

• Assist assigned Regional Directors in preparing and distributing communications through various channels for their regions, scheduling meetings, development of communities, creation of presentations, videos, graphics, etc.

Regional & Global Member Programs

• Liaise with other departments in the promotion of Member Programs within assigned regions, through Events, Marketing, social media, and Publications when required.

• Represent the association in exhibitions or other meetings within assigned regions.

• Manage, organize and execute regional student paper contests, either physically within region, or virtually.

• Work closely with the Regional Directors on regional awards activities including establishing committees, finalizing nominations, selection of winners, procuring awards, shipping awards, and organizing awards dinners when requested.

• Maintain and develop budgets for assigned regional programs, securing sponsorship of activities whenever possible.

• Manage the organisation and logistics of lecturers to be hosted by sections within allocated regions.

• Organise and facilitate regional student development programs.
