Position Summary

Responsible for the professional attentive care, cleaning and maintenance of the hotel. Must be strong team player and with adequate communication skills. Must be flexible to work in different areas of the department and when additional duties are request.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The person holding this position checks all rooms for verification on regular basis.
  • Cleans public area section up the company standard and performing combination of duties such as vacuum carpet, dusts & wipes furniture, empties waste baskets, cleans toilet, mirrors & floors and replenishes supplies.
  • Monitors and guides new employees.

OPERATIONAL

  • Maintaining Brand Standards related to public areas.
  • Scheduling routine inspections of all Housekeeping areas with Housekeeping supervisors.
  • Inspecting guest and public areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishings, facilities, and equipment are clean and in good repair and making recommendations for the upkeep of the same.
  • Managing spring cleaning schedules.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Communicating clearly with all relevant internal departments on issues of guest needs and maintenance.
  • Supervising outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Maintaining Brand Standards related to guest rooms, public areas and laundry.
  • Inspecting guest and public areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishings, facilities, and equipment are clean and in good repair and making recommendations for the upkeep of the same.

HUMAN RESOURCES

  • Communicating clearly on issues of guest needs and maintenance.
  • Maintaining stock of guest amenities, ensuring cost effective purchasing whilst maintaining brand standards.

GENERAL

  • Assists the Executive Housekeeper in daily operation.
  • Inspects work to ensure proper standards of cleanliness
  • Revises work schedules depending on the operation and occupancy.
  • Supervises periodic cleaning tasks and ensures proper records are kept.
  • Inspects rooms and public areas and points out areas for improvement.
  • Coordinates repairs and maintenance with Engineering.
  • Recommends new purchases as and when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED900.00 – AED1,000.00 per month
