Key responsibilities

• Develop seasonal product assortments aligned with brand direction and market trends
• Coordinate with design and product development teams for final product selections
• Review product samples for fit, quality, and compliance with approved designs and specifications
• Negotiate product costs, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Create and process purchase orders using DMS, SAP, or other ERP systems
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards and ethical sourcing policies
• Coordinate the movement of photoshoot samples across relevant departments
• Track purchase orders, production progress, and delivery schedules for timely stock availability
• Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams for inbound shipments, stock receipts, and delivery requirements
• Collaborate with design, buying, planning, logistics, and retail operations teams throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Buying, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5–15 years of relevant experience in production merchandising, fashion buying, or category management
• Strong knowledge of fashion product development, sample evaluation, costing, supplier negotiations, and production processes
• Proven ability to manage purchase orders, supplier relationships, and delivery schedules
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in DMS, SAP, or similar ERP systems
• Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
