Operations Manager – Supermarket & Food Chain

Lead operations for a network of over 130 branches, drive sales and profitability growth, enhance operational efficiency, and unify performance and quality standards across all branches.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations and enforce uniform operational policies and standards.
• Lead and develop regional and branch managers, evaluate performance, and enhance leadership skills.
• Plan and monitor operational KPIs, address performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Boost sales and profit margins, and reduce operational costs.
• Manage inventory and supply chains, minimize stockouts, waste, and discrepancies.
• Ensure fresh product quality, adhere to food safety regulations, and maintain storage conditions.
• Improve employee productivity, enhance customer service, and elevate shopping experience.
• Leverage ERP, POS systems, and analytical reports to support operational decisions.
• Oversee the readiness and launch of new branches according to company standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, HR, marketing, and warehousing departments.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in retail operations, preferably in a supermarket or food chain setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with ERP and POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
