Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers, compressors, chillers, and refrigeration systems
- Perform routine inspections and record operating parameters
- Identify and address abnormal conditions
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
- Assist in boiler operation and steam-trap inspection
- Monitor compressor and chiller performance
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety procedures
- Use hand tools and maintenance equipment correctly
- Maintain daily logs and equipment records
- Respond promptly to utility breakdowns and emergencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in utility maintenance (3-5 years)
- Strong knowledge of utility systems and equipment
- Ability to read and understand P&IDs and utility system flow
- Familiarity with HSE, GMP, LOTO, and Permit-to-Work procedures
- Proficient in using hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
