Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing mechanical works at the construction site, specifically in HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
- Supervising and coordinating with both in-house teams and subcontractors to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of mechanical work.
- Reviewing project drawings and specifications while providing necessary technical input.
- Ensuring work is conducted according to approved documentation, plans, standards, and safety guidelines.
- Leading the mechanical site team, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient completion.
- Monitoring progress, reporting site activities, and resolving any technical or execution issues.
- Assisting the tendering team with mechanical estimates, BOQs, and technical submissions for current and future projects.
- Maintaining local and regional supplier and subcontractor contacts, as well as knowledge of general price lists.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations, company standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Coordinating with other disciplines (civil, electrical, etc.) for smooth project execution.
- Providing regular updates and reports to the project management team.
- Coordinating with the client on all project aspects.
- Issuing and attending work inspections and material inspections, along with preparing required reports.
- Ensuring proper documentation of all project-related paperwork.
