Marketing Manager - M.H. AL MAHROOS BSC - Manama

A quick overview:

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, lead acquisition, foster customer retention, executive business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building. In this role, you are responsible for building and maintaining a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.

Your key duties:

  • Create a marketing strategy by understanding the strategy of the business, having an overview of the market trends in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategy for the organization and the Business Units including the products and services.
  • Manage and improve the marketing Activation strategies.
  • Develop B2B and B2C channel strategies and maximize overall brand strategy.
  • Work with the Business Unit Managers to contribute to driving sales and growing brand awareness.
  • Manage and execute all types of marketing related to the nature of the Business Unit such as; Guerrilla marketing, PR Marketing, Seasonal Marketing, Newsletter, Article, Content Marketing, and Tradeshow Marketing.
  • Manage the development and day-to-day activities of brand management, digital marketing, marketing creative, marketing communications, and marketing content management.
  • Organize and develop specific customer-relations programs and determine company presence at conventions, customer gatherings, exhibitions, and seminars related to the Business Unit industry.
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends, and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.
  • Improving market share by developing marketing plans and programs for all Business Units and directing promotional support.
  • Manage the coordination between the Business Unit Marketing teams and the Graphic Design teams.
  • Manage all executions from the Marketing and Graphic Design team to ensure all marketing and sales collateral delivering on time.
  • Work with the team to develop advertising, statement stuffers, collateral, and sales support material.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Oversee all branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Negotiate with media agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials.
  • Handle the company website effectively and drive changes to improve its functionality.
  • Formulate effective and creative ideas for maintaining brand reputation and increasing brand recognition.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs.

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar field.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both Arabic and English with solid translation skills.
  • Experience in Conventional and Digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in online marketing, including social media, and content marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, mass communication, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Proficiency in working with metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
