Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As the Buying & Planning Manager, you will drive the e-Commerce product execution in the region; you will stand as the buying and in season trading expert for the digital channel working very close to key stake holders in e-Comm team, marketing and finance. You will be the one who loves our products, understand its performance based in quantitative and qualitative facts and will be capable to ensure a smooth product execution end to end.
Drive e-Com Merchandising buying and in season trading processes for GCC in close collaboration with the e-Com regional hub.
Pre-Season Planning and Buying
Provide seasonal forecasts for new assortments covering ASPs, promotional strategy and sell through by category.
Based on the OTB and the assortment plan, make the buying depth forecast ensuring consistency with the marketing strategy and historical data.
Guarantee size breakdowns are created according to market needs and incorporated in the buying process for e-com.
Provide quantitative and quality feedback to e-Com assortment planning in close collaboration with marketing stake holders.
Participate in major go-to-market milestones to gain insight to key seasonal brand and BU strategies and initiatives including them in the e-com outlook.
Present the buy check for sign-off by Director DBC.
Manage end of season returns process.
In-Season Planning and Trading
Work with local/hub/global colleagues to define and implement best in class e-Com KPI tracking mechanisms focused on optimization of the e-Com experience through in season trading best practices.
Analyze article performance in weekly basis and implement in close collaboration with other channels the markdown strategy for e-Com optimizing margin opportunities.
Lead seasonal stock analysis ensuring right volumes are available in distribution centers.
Deliver in-season replenishments, ensuring quick and effective reaction to fast changing market environment – with focus on NOOS articles.
Weekly monitoring of KPIs and distribution of key merchandise reports that help evaluate business goals and drives decision making.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of digital business with commercial mindset, ideally with knowledge of merchandising, financial planning, sales strategies, digital marketing or online behavior.
Experienced in data analysis with strong skills in Microsoft Excel is required.
Knowledge in Google analytics, MicroStrategy or other tools is preferred.
Knowledge of other functional areas involved in the Pre-Season and In-season Merchandising planning is preferred.
Good understanding of brand building and consumer perspective.
Holistic thinker – establish and drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functions.
Strong influencer and natural collaborator
Fluent in English
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in business administration, marketing or related.
Experience in e-Commerce or a commercial channel is preferred.
Experience in Buying/Planning roles in fashion or sports is highly advantageous.
5 Years’ experience.
