• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in converting complex data landscapes into actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities:

1. Prototyping and Solution Design:

   • Translate business requirements into Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).

2. Data Pipeline Management:

   • Build and manage reusable, scalable data pipelines, optimizing data flows.
   • Assist with reporting queries and support developers using tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and Azure.
   • Develop and support the integration of new data streams into the Azure Data platform, ensuring data accessibility, reliability, and structure.
3. Collaboration and Leadership:
   • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
   • Support the integration of prototypes into core intelligence products.
   • Adapt to agile and waterfall methodologies, guiding teams through dynamic project environments.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Event Hubs.
• Proven experience in constructing and refining Big Data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
• Strong analytical skills for deriving insights from unstructured datasets.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for deploying ADF pipelines.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of data engineering experience, particularly in Azure and Databricks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Preferred certifications in Azure Data Fundamentals and Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, with expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
