Summary:
A Senior Accountant position is available for candidates with expertise in UAE compliance and tax filings. The role involves managing core accounting tasks, advising clients on VAT and corporate structuring, and mentoring junior staff to support the growth of the UAE office. Key Responsibilities:

UAE Compliance & Regulatory Filings:
- Manage quarterly VAT filings, corporate tax returns, and statutory financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE corporate regulations, free zone, and FTA tax laws.
- Advise on structuring, Economic Substance Regulations (ESR), and Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) compliance.
- Assist in incorporating businesses in both mainland and free zones.

Client Management & Advisory:
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with business owners and their finance teams.
- Provide tailored financial insights and recommendations for the UAE market.
- Support clients in compliance strategies and business growth initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Growth:
- Mentor junior accountants and bookkeepers.
- Establish and improve accounting systems, workflows, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with the founding team to expand the Dubai office.
Experience & Qualifications:
- UAE-recognized accountancy qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a UAE-based firm.
- Strong understanding of UAE tax, VAT, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with Free Zone and Mainland compliance structures.
- Proficient in bookkeeping software like Xero or QuickBooks.
- Experience with startups and scaling companies is advantageous.
