Job Title: Junior Analyst – AML, FATCA & CRS Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, review, and validate FATCA and CRS self-certification forms along with KYC documentation.
  • Conduct due diligence on clients to ascertain FATCA & CRS status and ensure tax residency information completeness.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of AML, FATCA & CRS policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to gather necessary KYC and tax information for onboarding and compliance processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking of AML, FATCA & CRS documentation per retention policies.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports related to AML, FATCA, and CRS to relevant authorities.
  • Participate in training programs concerning AML, FATCA, and CRS compliance.
  • Stay updated on internal and external compliance requirements.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to client information, documentation, or compliance processes.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits regarding AML, FATCA, and CRS.
  • Develop and deliver training presentations on AML, FATCA, and CRS topics.
  • Ensure compliance reporting deadlines are met according to agreed turnaround times (TATs).

Required Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of industry best practices, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in AML, FATCA & CRS compliance within the insurance, banking, or financial services sectors in the UAE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, commerce, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications include CAMS, ICA, or equivalent.
