Summary:
Black & Grey HR is seeking an Estimation & Business Development Director for a prominent Landscaping Company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves driving strategic growth, overseeing estimation and business development functions, and ensuring competitive bidding processes to enhance the company’s market position in the UAE and GCC regions.
Data and Details:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and generate leads.
- Lead negotiations and presentations to secure major contracts.
- Conduct market analysis to provide insights to the executive team.
- Oversee the estimation team in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects.
- Manage the tender submission process ensuring compliance and professionalism.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams for executable bids.
- Review and approve final tender submissions and lead post-bid analysis.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team while aligning with senior leadership on business planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS, CCE) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 20 years in the construction or landscaping industry, with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE/GCC procurement processes and market dynamics.
