Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient General Manager to oversee our CSD (Carbonated Soft Drinks) and Juice divisions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the production, operations, and sales of CSD and juice products. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing comprehensive business functions including P&L, quality assurance, maintenance, finance, inventory management, and procurement. Familiarity with industry-leading equipment such as Krones, KHS, Sacmi, Tetra Pak A3 Speed, and A3 Flex is essential. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the Angolan market, having previously worked in or with the region,Responsibilities:Lead the operations and production of the CSD and Juice divisions to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.Manage and oversee the entire supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.Maintain comprehensive oversight of the financial health of the divisions, including budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and safety regulations.Supervise and enhance maintenance practices to ensure optimal functioning of all production equipment.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.Lead and mentor a team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.·       Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic business plans that align with the company’s overall mission and objectives.·       Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plants, ensuring efficient production, adherence to safety standards, and quality control.·       Financial Oversight: Manage the division’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.·       Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative campaigns and strategies that enhance brand presence and market share.·       Product Development: Lead research and development initiatives to innovate and improve product offerings based on consumer trends and preferences.·       Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team to achieve business goals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.·       Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements related to food and beverage production.·       Stakeholder Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and clients.
