Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of school buildings and grounds to uphold safety and sanitation standards, including pest control.
- Oversee the school alarm system, arrange for repairs with vendors and district maintenance personnel, ensuring compliance with district standards.
- Manage grounds-keeping personnel, order custodial supplies, and direct their delivery and warehousing.
- Select, train, and evaluate custodial, grounds, and maintenance staff while maintaining records, preparing reports, and processing payroll.
- Onboard foreign staff and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Develop and manage the custodial and maintenance budget while coordinating the use of school facilities.
- Ensure maintenance of essential facilities such as water and heating, manage budgets, allocate space, and ensure compliance with government regulations regarding health, safety, and security.
- Advise on energy efficiency, oversee projects and refurbishments, and draft reports with recommendations.
- Operate a computerized energy management system and perform skilled maintenance and repair work while supervising multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Candidate:
- Years of Experience: Minimum 6 years, maximum 8 years.
