The Associate Electrical Engineer position involves providing technical support for substation equipment and site installation/testing activities in large-scale transmission and distribution projects. Job Purpose: Support engineering tasks related to substation equipment and site operations for T&D projects.

Dimensions:
- External Interfaces: Sub-contractors, suppliers, project consultants.
- Internal Interfaces: Toshiba management, internal employees.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Assist in engineering tasks and supervise various installation activities.

Support senior engineers in developing diagrams, layouts, and documentation.
- Project Execution:
- Coordinate tasks for ongoing projects and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and client specifications.
- Field Work:
- Conduct site visits for inspections and data collection.
- Manage electrical material delivery and coordinate installation work.

Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive solutions.

Report findings and updates to senior engineers and stakeholders.
- Reporting:
- Take on additional tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Engineer; internships related to transmission and distribution are a plus.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Fundamental knowledge of HV and MV electrical systems.
- Proficient in software tools like MS Excel, AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB.
- Understanding of industry standards and regulatory codes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
