Key responsibilities
- Co-own the technical direction of our products with the CTO
- Build event-driven services using TypeScript, NestJS, Kafka, and Kubernetes
- Develop LLM agent systems: prompting, tool use, RAG, evals, cost, and reliability controls
- Turn ideas into working demos for clients using AI-assisted tools like Claude, Cursor, and Copilot
- Lead client technical meetings and explain architecture clearly
- Write structured reports and present them in management meetings
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience (3+ years in software, currently hands-on)
- Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, Vue or React, APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, cloud fundamentals
- Experience with event-driven systems: Kafka or queues, retries, idempotency
- Understanding of LLM agents: prompting, tool use, RAG, evals, cost, and reliability trade-offs
- Daily use of AI-assisted tools like Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and knowledge of the current agent-tooling landscape
- Ability to create a working demo from an idea within a day using AI-assisted tooling
- Clear written reports and confident presentation skills
