The position of REVIT/Civil 3D Modeller involves creating precise 3D models and assisting in the development of detailed project documentation. The role requires collaboration with senior modellers and entails managing large sheet sets, plotting drawings, and working in a shared environment.
Data and Details:
Job Responsibilities:
- Create high-accuracy REVIT or Civil 3D models under the guidance of Senior Modellers.
- Develop plans, sections, elevations, and details from 3D models for various projects.
- Annotate, dimension, and detail design and production drawings as required.
- Assist in setting up and managing large sheet sets, including revisions and mark-ups, and plot drawings in various formats (PDF, DWG, paper).
- Operate in a collaborative work-sharing environment using central files on Revit or Civil 3D servers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in developing accurate 3D models in REVIT and/or Civil 3D.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and modellers.
- Experience in preparing detailed BIM models and conducting clash detection, along with data management skills.
- Good understanding of REVIT, Civil 3D, Navisworks for clash analysis, and BIM360 for model collaboration.
- Ability to follow coordination instructions and support parametric modelling strategies.
- Experience in managing project-driven Level of Development (LOD) criteria.
