Key responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, adhering to auditing and accounting standards
• Review and approve financial statements and audit working papers
• Lead and mentor audit teams, allocate assignments, and monitor progress
• Perform risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and identify significant risks
• Review complex accounting matters and determine audit conclusions
• Communicate audit findings to clients, senior management, and engagement partners
• Finalize management letters, audit reports, and other engagement deliverables
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, UAE tax, and regulatory requirements
• Manage client relationships and maintain high standards of client service
• Monitor engagement budgets, resource allocation, and billing
• Coordinate with partners and other service lines on complex matters
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to firm growth

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Audit Team Leader or similar role
• Strong technical expertise in auditing and accounting standards
• Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and support business development
• Familiarity with IFRS, ISA, UAE corporate tax, and VAT requirements
