Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the stewarding team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and cleanliness standards are met
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely support in food preparation
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessary
- Train and develop stewarding staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Handle any stewarding-related issues or complaints effectively and promptly
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special functions
- Prepare reports on stewarding activities and highlight areas for improvement or optimization
