Summary: We are seeking an experienced General Accountant for our head office in Jordan. This pivotal role entails managing accounting operations across various countries, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and capable of overseeing full-cycle accounting independently while supervising junior accountants in our Gulf branches and consolidating regional financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting functions in Jordan, including bookkeeping and final accounts.
- Supervise and support branch accountants throughout the Gulf region.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss reports.
- Oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Handle reconciliations, payables, receivables, and payroll for the Jordan office.
- Provide financial reports and insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors and government authorities as necessary.
- Travel monthly to Gulf branches for on-site audits and reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Strong background in auditing and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and consolidate cross-border accounts.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience managing remote teams or branch accountants.
- Previous experience in recycling, manufacturing, or logistics industries is a plus.
- Willingness to travel monthly across the Gulf region.
