Key Responsibilities:
- SAP ABAP Development: Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, forms, enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and interfaces.
- Manufacturing Processes Support: Create solutions that integrate with manufacturing modules such as PP, MM, SD, WM, HR, and QM.
- Enhancements & Customization: Work on User Exits, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements, and BADI implementations for process optimizations.
- Integration & Interfaces: Develop and maintain IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services to connect SAP with external systems.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance the performance of ABAP programs through SQL trace, Runtime analysis, and Code Inspector techniques.
- SAP Fiori/UI5 Development (Preferred): Collaborate on SAP UI5 and Fiori-based applications to enhance user experience.
- Debugging & Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP programs, batch jobs, and interfaces.
- Data Migration & LSMW: Assist in data migration activities using tools like LSMW, BDC, and LTMC.
- Workflow Development: Design and implement SAP Workflows to automate approval processes.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and document technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in Core ABAP (Reports, ALV, Dialog Programming, SmartForms, SAP Scripts).
- Proficiency in Enhancements & Modifications (User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Framework).
- Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData Services.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional modules (MM, PP, SD, WM, QM).
- Knowledge of ABAP Objects (OO-ABAP) and modern ABAP 7.4/7.5 syntax.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in Performance Tuning and Code Optimization.
- Exposure to S/4HANA ABAP (CDS Views, AMDP, and Embedded Analytics) is a plus.
- Experience in data migration tools (LSMW, BDC, LTMC) and integration with non-SAP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
