Job Description

A Plant Operation Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a plant, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. They are responsible for managing the plant’s resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and quality standards. The Plant Operation Superintendent plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the plant and its employees, as well as maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and supervise the operation of the plant to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  2. Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets.
  3. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of employees and compliance with regulations.
  4. Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and carry out necessary repairs and maintenance activities.
  5. Analyze production data and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of 9 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  2. Most holding Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
  3. Strong knowledge of plant processes and equipment, as well as safety regulations.
  4. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
