Key Responsibilities
🎮 Customer Interaction & Service
● Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel welcomed.
● Answer inquiries about VR sessions, pricing, booking policies, and equipment.
● Assist customers in selecting the best VR experience based on their interests and preferences.
● Ensure that guests understand the safety protocols and equipment usage guidelines before sessions.
🗓️ Bookings & Payment Processing
● Manage reservations through our online booking system and handle walk-in customers.
● Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts.
- ● Track session schedules to prevent overbooking and ensure smooth transitions.
Upselling & Customer Engagement
● Recommend VR experiences, game bundles, and membership programs based on customer preferences.
● Upsell group packages, private events, and promotional offers.
● Encourage guests to sign up for our loyalty programs, referral incentives, or memberships.
🔧 Operations & Administration
● Maintain a clean and organized front desk, waiting area, and equipment station.
● Coordinate with VR facilitators and technical staff to ensure smooth operations.
● Handle minor troubleshooting for customer concerns or basic technical issues.
💬 Customer Satisfaction & Feedback
● Address minor customer complaints and escalate major concerns to the manager.
● Collect and document customer feedback to improve overall experiences.
● Encourage customers to leave online reviews and share their experiences on social media.
Skills
Proficient in conveying clear and accurate messages through oral and written modes.
A tech-savvy individual with the ability to operate software like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook efficiently.
Sound command on effective management of existing tasks to enhance work output and create a smooth flow of in-house operations.
Excellent track record of handling all the duties and responsibilities that fall under the receptionist job profile.
Keen eye on assessing current tasks as per priority and allot appropriate duration as per requirement.
Good understanding of formal requirements, portraying eloquent communication skills and appearance.
Customer Service Experience: Background in retail, hospitality, gaming, or entertainment preferred.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain VR experiences to new customers.
Tech-savvy: comfortable using POS systems, booking software, and basic troubleshooting (VR knowledge is a plus).
Sales & Upselling Skills: Ability to recommend and promote VR games, memberships, and premium experiences.
Adaptability & Quick Thinking: Able to handle peak hours, customer issues, and technical concerns with confidence.
Preferred but Not Required:
● Familiarity with VR technology or gaming experiences (HTC Vive, Oculus Quest, haptics).
● Basic knowledge of social media engagement for promoting the business.
Experience in event coordination or corporate bookings
