We are looking for a skilled and experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile projects, ensuring cost efficiency and precision while contributing to the success of complex MEP systems.Role Overview: The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring that all MEP works are completed within budget. This role demands a strong background in cost management, contracts, and an in-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for MEP works, including bills of quantities (BOQ).Oversee cost control, tender preparation, and contract management for MEP projects.Conduct valuations for completed work and arrange payments to contractors.Lead procurement activities, including sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of materials.Collaborate with project teams to align costs and procurement strategies with project goals.Perform risk assessments and propose cost-saving measures without compromising quality.Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Finalize project accounts and manage accurate cost and procurement reporting.
Skills
