Key responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Design sheet metal components, steel structures, and fabricated assemblies
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models
- Generate DXF files for laser cutting, flat patterns, and CNC bending drawings
- Design diesel generator canopies, chassis, fuel tanks, and other metal enclosures
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation
- Coordinate with production teams for accurate manufacturing and assembly
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, material efficiency, and cost reduction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication
- Experience in preparing manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
- Ability to coordinate with production teams
- Mid-career experience preferred
