Key responsibilities

• Own and manage SAST platforms, policies, and processes
• Drive secure code practices throughout the SDLC
• Manage source repository security within GitLab
• Oversee vulnerability management activities
• Establish application security standards and governance
• Partner with engineering leaders to build security capabilities
• Design and deliver secure coding training programmes
• Introduce and operationalise AI-assisted application security capabilities
• Evaluate and govern AI coding assistant security risks

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in Software Engineering and/or Application Security
• Proven experience in SAST tools and secure coding practices
• Knowledge of GitLab and cloud-native applications
• Experience with AI-driven application security initiatives
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
