Key responsibilities
- Develop new business and generate qualified leads for air, sea, and road freight services
- Understand customers' cargo, routes, and service requirements to prepare suitable quotations
- Follow up on enquiries, negotiate commercial terms, and convert opportunities into long-term accounts
- Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Coordinate with pricing and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely service
- Maintain sales activity, pipeline, and customer records, working towards agreed targets
Requirements
- Previous sales experience in freight forwarding, cargo, or logistics is required
- Good knowledge of the UAE logistics market and shipping processes
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills
- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM tools
