Key responsibilities
- Manage daily tanker truck operations, schedules, and driver assignments
- Coordinate vehicle movements, deliveries, loading, and unloading activities
- Plan transportation routes and monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and operating costs
- Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, and insurance renewals
- Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, regulations, and road safety requirements
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, terminals, and relevant authorities
- Maintain accurate records of trips, delivery documents, vehicle expenses, and operational reports
- Handle transportation delays, vehicle breakdowns, and operational emergencies
Requirements
- Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in the petroleum industry
- Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws, regulations, and road safety requirements
- Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for fleet management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
