Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, & repair on BYD electric vehicles
- Diagnose & troubleshoot EV systems, including high-voltage components & battery systems
- Carry out repairs following manufacturer guidelines & EV safety standards
- Minimize vehicle downtime by completing repairs right the first time
- Perform vehicle inspections & support Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reporting
- Follow high-voltage safety procedures, workshop processes, & 5S standards
- Ensure efficient use of parts, tools, & workshop resources
- Work closely with team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EV technology & automotive innovations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an EV or automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic & repair skills
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems & safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently & follow manufacturer guidelines
- Excellent communication skills & teamwork mindset
- Passion for electric mobility & commitment to learning
