Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Mason to construct, repair, and maintain structures using brick, block, stone, and concrete. The Mason will contribute to residential, commercial, or industrial projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other masonry materials.
- Mix mortar and grout according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
- Repair and restore existing masonry structures.
- Ensure surfaces are level, plumb, and properly aligned.
- Follow safety procedures and utilize tools and equipment correctly.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and other construction workers.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read construction plans and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and capability to lift heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations.
- High school diploma or vocational training preferred.
