Summary:
The MEP Manager position involves overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for high-rise building projects in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local and international standards throughout the project lifecycle, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Data and Details:
- Job Purpose: Lead and manage all MEP works, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards while complying with Saudi codes and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Execution: Manage HVAC, firefighting, electrical, plumbing, ELV, and building management systems; oversee design coordination and shop drawing approvals; schedule and monitor MEP works; ensure integration with architectural and structural elements.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Codes and Civil Defense regulations; enforce QA/QC procedures; uphold safety standards on site.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers; conduct coordination meetings; provide progress reports to stakeholders.
- Cost & Procurement Control: Monitor project costs; review material submittals; assist in vendor negotiations.
- Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Lead testing and commissioning of MEP systems; ensure documentation and manuals are completed; facilitate handover to clients.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 12-15 years in MEP, with at least 5 years in management on high-rise projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of MEP systems, Saudi Building Codes, commissioning processes, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA).
- Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.
- Certifications: PMP, LEED, or similar certifications preferred.
- Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
